Azure Power wins 250MW solar project in NTPC auction

An auction run by Indian state-owned National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) through its subsidiary NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam has awarded Azure Power a 25-year 250MW solar project at a tariff of Rs3.14 per kWh. The PV project can be located anywhere in India outside of a recognised solar park.
