ESB plans refinancing of £400m Carrington power plant debt

The group finance director of the Republic of Ireland-owned Electricity Supply Board (ESB) has stated that conditions remain favourable for a refinancing of the €453 million of project finance debt associated with its gas-powered power plant at Carrington near Manchester.
