UK renewable curtailment reaches 5.5TWh in H1 2025

Montel Analytics reports that over 5.5TWh of renewable energy was curtailed across Great Britain and Ireland in the first half of 2025. Great Britain accounted for 4.6TWh, up 15% year-on-year. Northern Scotland was responsible for more than 86% of GB curtailment, turning down 4TWh of wind power...
