Bangladesh awards 20-year cable concessions

The government of Bangladesh has awarded 20-year fibre-optic cable broadband concessions to Fiber@Home and Summit Communication under its Digital Bangladesh 2021 strategy. Chexim is providing around $156.56 million in low-cost loans towards roll-out of the project.
