Trafigura-backed Rhone Energies to acquire Fos-sur-Mer refinery

Rhone Energies has reached a deal to acquire the Fos-sur-Mer refinery and the Toulouse and Villette-de-Vienne terminals from Esso. The sales agreement still requires regulatory approval, which is expected in October 2024. Rhone Energies is a consortium composed of Entara and Trafigura.
