JBIC supports Toyota's US BEV battery manufacturing

Toyota has signed a $322 million loan, including $193 million from JBIC, to manufacturer batteries for battery electric vehicles in North Carolina.The remainder of the deal is co-financed by SMBC, MUFG, and Mizuho. The loan will support Toyota's overseas business expansion via US sibsidiary...
