Green Investment Bank sold to Macquarie for £2.3bn

The Australian infrastructure investor has bought GIB from the UK government for £1.7 billion with an estimated £600 million for future funding committments on existing projects. The government will retain a £130m portfolio of GIB’s existing project investments.
