SECI appointed for 2.5GW hybrid renewables auction

India's Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has appointed Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to implement 2.5GW of hybrid wind and solar projects for connection to the inter-state transmission system. The projects will be selected by reverse auction and will be awarded 25-year PPAs....
