"Making progress on longstanding challenges requires a different lens and a new approach."
The TXF Stages for Change initiative provides a platform, both online and offline, to encourage and promote diversity within trade, export and commodity finance. Each stage will focus on delivering change where it’s needed most – from race, ethnicity and gender equality to socioeconomic status and sustainability.
Introducing stage one: Gender Equality in Trade and Export Finance
TXF’s first Stage for Change event will take place on 2nd May in London at Bracewell's offices. Over 30 people will attend a small roundtable and structured networking event to propel and foster business relationships that need to exist in order to achieve gender equality in trade, export and commodity finance.
LEAVE WITH BUSINESS: We all want to achieve the same thing and do business with people we like, trust and respect. TXF Stages for Change provides a space that champions both women and men to build relationships with other women
LEARN SOMETHING NEW: Female experts that you know will lead discussions and provide solutions on the subjects currently affecting your work and industry
STAY CONNECTED: Business relationships won’t grow from a single meeting. TXF’s Stages for Change will keep you connected via post-event community follow ups online, whatsapp and offline via meet-ups

09.30 – 10.00 Country risk profiles: An introduction
Over the past years, we’ve been working with Coriolis Technology to devise comprehensive country risk analysis. Our reports track political risks across the globe, and this introductory session will give you an insight into our methodology.
Dr Rebecca Harding, Co-Founder & CEO, Coriolis Technology
10.00-11.00 Mapping Europe: A political risk overview
Take a tour of the most pressing political risks facing Europe today. We’ll look at topics
including:
-Do Catalonian separatists still pose significant risks?
-What will the impacts of Italy’s strict anti-austerity measures entail, and will the economy
recover?
-Will we ever break the Brexit deadlock, and what, if any, business will emerge from the
confusion?
-How will the results of Ukraine’s recent election pan out?
We take your interests into account and shape the session based on the business you are engaged in. Share your expertise with fellow industry leaders and workshop tangible solutions for dealing with European risk profiles.
Katharine Morton, Head of Trade, Treasury & Risk, TXF
11.00 – 11.30 It’s all about the network
Grab a coffee, swap business cards, and take the time to get to know everyone in the room. Meanwhile you can use our networking app to book one-to-one meetings for the afternoon.
11.30 – 12.30 Next steps: Cracking the industry
We’ll put our heads together for a solutions focused workshop, considering:
-What we can do within our businesses to drive gender equality in the industry
