2022 was almost instantly off to a detrimentally rocky start as Russia invaded Ukraine in February, sending global commodities supply chains into meltdown with its intensive warmongering. Although the rebalancing of global trade flow will take years, TXF’s 2022 data shows that there was no significant drop in overall global deal volume, as traders and bankers diversified away from Russia.
