EDC has seen a 20% increase in the take up of its small and medium sized enterprises (SME) export programme following a recent rule change allowing the Canadian export credit agency (ECA) to offer 100% guarantees to SMEs. TXF examines what lessons EDC’s new SME programme could offer other ECAs.
