When asked to write an update on Russia, my initial thought was, why? Surely it is clear to everyone? But the more I thought about it, the more I realised just how confused the current environment is. And so, having been given the space to publish my take on events, I realised I could contribute to shedding some light on the murk – or possibly just add to the confusion.
