EBRD mulls funding for 1.1GW Egyptian wind project

EBRD is considering providing a loan for the construction, commissioning and operation of a 1.1GW wind power project in Egypt. The Suez Wind Energy BOO Wind Power Plant will be developed over two plots in the Gulf of Suez – the northern plot and the southern plot.
