China's Ant readies $3.5bn loan to fund MoneyGram buy

Ant Financial, an affiliate of Chinese online shopping giant Alibaba, is close to signing a $3.5 billion loan to help fund its purchase of US money transfer company MoneyGram International. The deal, which is pending approval from US authorities, would help Ant build a cross-border network.
