KOEN signs MoU for 197MW Kalam-Asrit hydro project

The state-owned Korea South East Power Company (KOEN) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the construction of the 197MW Kalam-Asrit hydro project on the Swat River. The BOOT development has an estimated cost of $500 million.
