Swindon Council gets planning permission for its own 50MW storage project

Swindon Council-owned Public Power Solutions has obtained permission from the council's planning department for a 50MW power storage project on council-owned land close to a substation. It is now seeking developers to fund and build the front-of-meter battery project.
