Russia CIS producers were the highest recipients of bank debt in H1 2016, with a number of big deals for the region. Despite sanctions concerns and a downturn in wider commodity finance market, Russian producers tapped considerably more debt than they did in the same period last year. But some lenders remain sceptical.
